Website privacy notice

Your enquiry information.

How information is handled when you visit this site or contact Fernwell Cleaning & Co. Last updated 5 October 2026.

Who to contact

This notice covers website enquiries to Fernwell Cleaning & Co. Contact info@fernwellcleaning.co.uk with privacy questions or requests.

What this website collects

The enquiry form asks for your name, email, optional phone number, service, frequency, area, optional date and cleaning requirements. Entered details stay on the page while you use it. The form prepares an email draft in your own email application; it does not submit the details to a website database. We receive them only when you send the email.

Please do not include alarm codes, key locations or sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry. Information you provide must be information you are entitled to share.

Why we use enquiry information

We use it to reply, understand the requested work and discuss a quote or booking. Taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and performing an agreed contract, are the relevant bases for this work. We may also keep correspondence needed to handle a dispute or legitimate business administration, and records required by law.

Service providers and retention

Website hosting, security and email services process technical or correspondence data so the site and mailbox can operate. We have not added Google Analytics or advertising trackers to this website. Google Fonts is used to display typefaces and may receive your IP address and browser request information. Hosting services may process IP addresses and security logs.

Enquiry information should be retained only while needed to respond and follow up. If you become a customer, booking and accounting records may need longer retention to meet legal obligations or resolve claims. Contact us to ask about information held about you. Provider arrangements and any international transfers will be considered when services change.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. We may need to verify your identity and some rights are subject to legal exceptions.

If you have a concern, email us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes to this notice

This notice describes the current website enquiry route. It will be updated if the form, analytics or information handling changes. Any separate booking documentation should identify the supplier and explain additional use of customer information.
